In this project you will get practice writing sentences of more complexity.
Here is your goal for this assignment:
• Write sentences containing present and past participles.
• Write sentences containing gerunds.
Write ten sentences using the following terms as participles: feel, ride, smoke, pray, kneel, sacrifice, steal, talk, hit, and
freeze. Five of the terms must be used as present participles, while the other five must be used as past participles.
Then choose five of these verbs to write five sentences containing gerunds or gerund phrases.
For these, identify the noun
function of each gerund.
