At the end of chapter 39, Tom writes a "nonnamous" letter to the Phelps family. His letter is full of slang and colloquialisms. Write an essay of at least 150 words (in standard English) based on this letter, explaining what Tom wants the family to believe and clarifying any language that needs to be explained.
