How is this for a descriptive essay First off, before I really start this essay I wanna say that he passed away on May,20,2018 at Lake Meredith in Texas.

He was five foot nine. He was built with some muscles and had a mustache and long, dark hair that curled around the ends, from the hat that he always wore; it was a luján&sons hat from my uncle Victor. The company is no longer around but it was his favorite cap he loved to wear. He always said he felt naked when he wasn’t wearing a hat. He also always wore boots, no matter where we went. He was always wearing Wrangler or Rustlers jeans. He liked to wear button-down shirts. He was always working outside, at the barn, with the horses. Or working on some new project

Every time he cooked, his food was amazing. He always cooked my favorite food which is ribs. He made the best ribs I have ever tasted. His sausage, egg, and cheese burritos on Saturday mornings were just for him and me. We would wake up early at nine and he made the sweetest coffee with six spoons of sugar and would give me my own cup of coffee to drink with the burritos. He also cooked the best fish I have tasted, especially from fresh-caught catfish from lake Meredith. He made everything he cooked with love, secret ingredients, and special moments.

He smelled like Stetson Cologne and cigarettes. He smoked Marlboro. Because he worked with horses, sometimes he smelled like that as well.

His voice was a mix between Sam Elliot, Chris Young, and Josh Turner.
It was deep, low, and scary but had a really big hit of sweetness to it. His voice reminded me of the country music I listened to and the Southern way I was brought up.

When he touched me, I felt safe, secure, and soft but rough at the same time. When he gave me a whipping, it was strong and it hurt, but I felt the guilt of him having to spank me. But his hand always felt like protection from my fears, fears like rattlesnakes and spiders.

I will always have fond memories of him and will always love my grandpa and miss him so much.
