This is the second of the chapter 2 to the story im writing for those of you who wanted more‼️ “Kris, cette jeune femme va nous aider aujourd'hui, tu es d'accord avec ça ?”

Wow, ok. I’m not as rusty as I thought I was because he understood every word. I start walking to the front of the classroom towards him. “Je suis d'accord avec ça, quel est ton nom mademoiselle” he responds and faces me. “je...uhh... suis Olivia” I say “should he sit next to me?” I ask the teacher who’s staring at me in amazement “Yes” he says. I give Kris the hand signal that means “come here” or “Follow me” at least he understands that. He follows me to my desk and plops down into the one next to mine. Class can finally begin. “Enjoy the new student” the principal says before walking out of the classroom. “Since we have a French student let’s talk about some major events in france history shall we?” The teacher said “The french revolution-” I stopped listening after he said revolution because i’m so focused on mister french emo boy next to me. Why am I so focused on him? His hair looks so fluffy I just wanna touch it. I start to reach for his hair but he notices and looks at me. He looks mad and starts yelling angry French words at me. Everyone turns and looks at the angry French boy yelling. “Calme toi Kris” I say nervously “Kris-” I say. “Miss Lee, if you need to take him into the hall to calm him down please do so” the teacher says. I smile nervously and knod. I grab the angry French boy's hand and lead him to the hall. I let go of his hand and he's still shouting at me. He must be really protective of his hair. "Kris, écoute moi d'accord ?” I say calmly as I put my hand on his arm. “It’s alright see?” I touch his arm gently. He was kinda cute yelling that angry French at me. Wait what? Nono- anyway.. I finally got him to calm down. We head back into the classroom and sit down back at our desks. The rest of the class goes on and soon enough it’s the end of the day and I find myself unlocking the door to my house. I’m so exhausted. My mom greets me in the kitchen. She can probably tell how tired and worn out I am because she asks “What’s wrong today?” I sit there staring at her for a moment, mouth wide open. I close my eyes and think about History. “We got a new student today” I say. “Oh! Isn’t that great? What is his or her name” she asks with an excited tone. “His name is kris..And he only speaks French.” I say with an annoyed look on my face. “Let me guess you had to translate all day?” she said. “Oh my god yes and It was so so tiring” I say as I rest my head on the table “He got mad at me in History and started shouting angry French at me it was so embarrassing mom” I say “He’ll know a bit of English by the end of the year maybe you two will hit it off who knows. Invite him over to dinner one night will you?” she squeaks.

The following excerpts that illustrate darl's and cash's points of view from william faulkner's as i lay dying: from darl: tull's wagon stands beside the spring, hitched to the rail, the reins wrapped about the seat stanchion. in the wagon bed are two chairs. jewel stops at the spring and takes the gourd from the willow branch and drinks. i pass him and mount the path, beginning to hear cash's saw. when i reach the top he has quit sawing. standing in a litter of chips, he is fitting two of the boards together. between the shadow spaces they are yellow as gold, like soft gold, bearing on their flanks in smooth undulations the marks of the adze blade: a good carpenter, cash is. he holds the two planks on the trestle, fitted along the edges in a quarter of the finished box. he kneels and squints along the edge of them, then he lowers them and takes up the adze. a good carpenter. addie bundren could not want a better one, better box to lie in. it will give her confidence and comfort. i go on to the house, followed by the chuck. chuck. chuck. of the adze. from cash: i made it on the bevel. there is more surface for the nails to grip. there is twice the gripping-surface to each seam. the water will have to seep into it on a slant. water moves easiest up and down or straight across. in a house people are upright two thirds of the time. so the seams and joints are made up-and-down. because the stress is up-and-down. in a bed where people lie down all the time, the joints and seams are made sideways, because the stress is sideways. except. a body is not square like a crosstie. animal magnetism. the animal magnetism of a dead body makes the stress come slanting, so the seams and joints of a coffin are made on a bevel. compare how the two narrators tell the story of addie bundren's impending death. is either narrator reliable? explain what the reader learns about each narrator. be sure to use specific details from the text to support your answer.
