Imagine that you are a confidant of either Macbeth or Lady Macbeth. In that role, compose and deliver a soliloquy in which you reflect on the murder of King Duncan and consider its significance for you. Your
soliloquy should contain characteristics of drama and elements of craft.
If you choose to be Macbeth's confidant, imagine that you know Macbeth's actions. Are you alarmed at being
friends with a man who would commit such a heinous act? Or, are you fascinated by the advantages you
might receive if your friend is the king?
If you choose to be Lady Macbeth's confidant, imagine that you know Macbeth's actions. Do you sympathize
with her doubts about Macbeth? Or, are you horrified by her ambition?
