Who am I exactly? What made me who I am? Who will I become? These are questions I often ask myself as I ponder my own existence. Questions like those are important to ask occasionally, but thinking too much about them can influence negative thinking as I have experienced many a time. My present, past and future are what have influenced me to become a technological genius.

So, who am I now? Presently my goal is to become somebody that my family would be proud of. Another of my current ventures is to stop talking bad about myself because I can achieve the impossible, even if now I don't believe it. I want to become someone who works with technology such as computers because my goal is to be able to buy a house and support a family. I have always wanted to have kids with the person of my choice and to achieve that I need money so, I figured I should work with technology because I know that’s an ever-growing field with a myriad of possibilities.

Why did I become the person I am? There are many events in a child's life that are crucial to developing their personality. I remember one event that has impacted my life in a major way. The passing of my great-grandmother was a time in my life when I began to withdraw from others. She and I were very close. We used to make up stories of how we would travel to England, live in a castle, and live like princesses. After her passing, I did not talk about this anymore and I forgot all about becoming a princess. I remember that I did not cry at her passing. I have her picture on the wall and I often talk to her to make me feel better.

What are my plans for the future? I have several things planned for my future and the first thing is to go to college, earn a degree in computer science and get a high paying job. After that I hope to start a family with someone I love. I want to raise my children the right way so that they become successful adults. I want to watch my children grow into wonderful young adults and watch them carve their future.

I am uniquely me, nothing more nothing less. My past has shaped me in many ways, some unknown even to me. I know that if I want my dreams to become reality, I will have to make them come true by carving out my path. My goals for the future can be achieved through hard work and perseverance. I can achieve my goals and so can you.

Which word best describes the author's tone in this excerpt from "that spot" by jack london? i don’t think much of stephen mackaye any more, though i used to swear by him. i know that in those days i loved him more than my own brother. if ever i meet stephen mackaye again, i shall not be responsible for my actions. it passes beyond me that a man with whom i shared food and blanket, and with whom i mushed over the chilcoot trail, should turn out the way he did. i always sized steve up as a square man, a kindly comrade, without an iota of anything vindictive or malicious in his nature. i shall never trust my judgment in men again. why, i nursed that man through typhoid fever; we starved together on the headwaters of the stewart; and he saved my life on the little salmon. and now, after the years we were together, all i can say of stephen mackaye is that he is the meanest man i ever knew. a. excited b. ironic c. indignant d. playful

What is the rhyme scheme in this excerpt from longfellow's, "the tide rises, the tide falls? " (10 points) the tide rises, the tide falls, the twilight darkens, the curlew calls; along the sea-sands damp and brown the traveler hastens toward the town, and the tide rises, the tide falls.
