This is the best I got is: The bitter snow falls heavenly on the land over the small village houses drowning the kingdom in white pure sugar. Up high over the land on a giant hill is a enormous castle towering over the kingdom. The castle is magnificent and enchanting, with lavishing rose beds and gold chandeliers that sparkle brightly. In the mythical kingdom past the village is a forest that is now covered in graceful snow with trees so bare and the branch’s extremely delicate that any sudden movement one could snap. The wind howled against the trees in the cold set of night with only one light in the kingdom on. In a small home in the village the fire was lit to keep warm throughout the night.

B. alice is pretending there is a way through the glass when in reality that would not be physically possible therefore she has to pretend. but i think d is also possible because alice notices the glass is actually melting away which is also not possible either
