Objective Summary of " An Hour With Abuelo."

n hour with abuelo talks about a boy, called Arturo, who was studying to land into AP English. His mother has begged him to spend at least one hour with his abuelo (grandfather), who was in a nursing home.  Arturo didn’t want to go because he didn’t have any time, but his mother made him go. Later, he went to visit his abuelo and was counting the minutes left of the hour he was supposed to stay with his grandfather. His abuelo was writing something and Arturo asked him what he was writing in order to pass time. His abuelo started reading his life story. It started when he was a teacher at a school that was built by the parents of the students in Puerto Rico. Later, the war came and he was forced to join, even though he tried to communicate with the President of the United States. In the army he offered to teach some of the soldier, but he was put on cleaning duty. When he returned to the island things had changed.  In order to be able to teach he needed a higher degree. Since his parents were sick and he didn’t have a job, he became a farmer. After the story ended, Arturo wanted to know more.But an old lady came to take him to a poetry reading. After that, his abuelo tells Arturo that his time was over (implying that the abuelo was the one who was counting the minutes) and the old lady takes him to the poetry reading.

president kennedy presents communism as cowardly, as a hidden and treacherous weapon that strikes from the shadows like thieves, he represents the system as not even being capable of showing and open and overt attack or confrontation. to finish up the response, he expresses that the system attacks even a country's idependence and freedom.
