I am having a hard time rewording this paragraph into five sentences: When we talk about the emotional state and conscious discipline, we are talking about an upset emotional state activated by the world not going our way and our personal past conditioning. It represents what happens when our buttons are pushed in our conditioned reactions emerge. The brain state model depicts all the varied systems that activates these upset emotional functions as the limbic system. The limbic system consists of several interconnected brain structures that process memories, activates our emotions and tell us what is worth remembering. The brain would be overwhelmed if there were not some method of prioritizing, and so the amygdala serves as the gate keeper of the emotional state. If the experience is tagged as threatening, the amygdala is activated, and self-defense becomes the goal of the exchange.

I would really appreciate if someone could help me with this. It's apart of the conscious discipline brain states and it's under the Emotional state.
