Which sentence could replace sentence 5 to make the paragraph more precise? Read the paragraph from Liam's narrative.
1. I had never been more frightened in my entire life.
2. As I stepped onto the diving platform, I waited for instructions from my diving coach.
3. Only because his directions were so clear, and because he was so nice, I was able to do it.
4. It had all been worth it, I thought, as I changed from my bathing suit back into clothes.
5. I had achieved what I had set out to do. [REPLACE THIS SENTENCE WITH ONE OF THE OPTIONS BELOW]

A. I was able to accomplish the goal I had set for myself. (what he specifically set out to do is still NOT precisely stated)
B. I had finally managed to dive from the highest platform. ( Yes. precisely stated)
C. I had surprised myself by being able to do what I didn't think I could. (still not precisely stated)
D. I truly owed a lot o Coach Wilkerson for all the help he had given me. ( nope )

My question is.. if the correct answer is B. I had finally managed to dive from the highest platform, because IT IS A MORE PRECISE way of stating sentence 5, then why has this question been mostly answered incorrectly SO much, taking up valuable answer slots? Please answer to post this.

You learned in this lesson that the mythical trojan war was instrumental in forming greek culture. it has been said that there were no real "greeks" before this, just relatively unconnected kingdoms in the land that would later be called greece. how did the story of the war "make" greek culture? select all that apply. it provided something for all greeks to talk about. it gave greeks a common history. it represented a moment when the different kingdoms came together for a common cause, unifying the different kingdoms into one greece. it showed how agamemnon conquered the lesser kingdoms and unified them under his rule.

Highlight all instances of parallel structure. there is no longer any room for hope. if we wish to be free—if we mean to preserve inviolate those inestimable privileges for which we have been so long contending—if we mean not basely to abandon the noble struggle in which we have been so long engaged, and which we have pledged ourselves never to abandon until the glorious object of our contest shall be obtained—we must fight!
