HELP ME CHECK THIS FOR PUNCTUATION AND SPELLING :) Everyone knows teachers work hard and are not always paid accordingly. What some people might not realize is that lots of young teachers are not sticking around for the long term and are leaving the schools and the students after only a couple of years. Dewey addresses this issue in this article and gives a lot of good facts, statistics, and evidence to get her point across. She uses some emotional language with her word choice, but she mostly focuses on the facts. Because these statistics are so startling, the facts are a good way to get us to see how big an issue this is and to get us to want to make a change. As a society, we should want to put a lot of effort, time, and money into the future generation, the kids. To do that, we must focus on education and the educators who teach the kids.
