Consider how the creature communicates after he learns to speak in the novel Frankenstein. His speech is intelligent and well mannered and he is also very persuasive in the way that he presents his side of the story. Why do you think that Mary Shelley had the creature speak like this despite how he looks?

i would say c, admiration because the narrator related to the main character and she, too, once felt ashamed about her culture and wished to be an american girl to impress a boy. she felt admiration because her mom prepared her favorite foods when her and robert's (the guy she liked) family all came together and had a family reunion.

the tale of “aunty misery” written by judith ortiz cofer , is a folk tale about an old woman who earns immortality by tricking death . the cost of immortality however, is that her life will stay the same. from this tale it becomes clear that death is a necessary evil and is inevitable in life.
