Answer correctly for brinlist
VICTOR:
It seems pretty clear to me that the character of Judge
Holden in the novel Blood Meridian doesn't represent evil.
He's more like a force of nature than a villain.
MARIA:
I agree. The long speech that he gives about war shows
that he doesn't believe in any moral law. He doesn't agree
with it or disagree with it, he just doesn't care. A hurricane
or a tornado wouldn't care either.
VICTOR:
So who is the villain of the story?
EDGAR:
Why are we assuming that all stories have to have villains?
I've read a lot of books where the source of conflict might
be the weather or a natural disaster or the main character
himself.
RIKU:
O. K., so we agree that Judge Holden isn't a villain. At least,
he's not a traditional kind of villain.
Which student is most clearly synthesizing the claims of the discussion into a
single conclusion?
A. Edgar
B. Victor
C. Maria
D. Riku
