I couldn't believe it when my cousin. Maria told me
she didn't like the dress that I am planning on wearing
to my Quinceañera party. Turning 15 and having this
party marks an important moment for girls in my
community. I had to choose a dress that my
grandmother would like, but also something that my
friends from school would think was pretty. Going
dress shopping was really difficult and nowy Maria
doesn t even approve anyway.
