Once upon a time, in an enchanted forest a girl was sitting in an old tree house. At the time no one knew the forest was enchanted. Although everyone told her it wasn't magical or enchanted she still believed. One day the girl’s mother had a new boy friend and brought him over. She said to her mother she didn't like him so he punched her. Her mother didn't do anything. The girl ran away that night. First she went to the tree house. She cried. She saw something and stopped crying. It was a kitten sitting in the corner. The kitten was extremely small. She grabbed the kitten and wrapped it up with her handkerchief. The kitten awoke and spoke to her, “Amelia, here is a necklace. It is magical so you must never lose it. It will give you powers.” She didn’t believe her at first but remembering the tale she took the necklace and put it on. Just as she was about to speak it started glowing gold. “Princess!” the kitten yelled, “It is really you!”. The girl didn’t know what was happening, “what do you mean, princess?”. She was about to tell the kitten she was no princess but suddenly she was outside a large granite and gold castle, “W-where are kitty?”. “We’re outside your home princess, oh and please call me melody!”, she said sweetly. Melody brought Amelia into the castle and woke the Queen and King. The Queen saw the gold necklace and instantly hugged Amelia, her… daughter. The King cried and hugged them both. “We have missed you so much.”, the Queen said. The King simply cried and hugged them both. The next day a huge festival was found for Amelia was their daughter making her the princess. She had been missing and they lived happily ever after.
