Writing Workshop Summative Assessment Choose one of the four types of writing (narrative, expository, persuasive, or descriptive) and use it to introduce yourself. Select the narrative form if you believe a story about yourself is the best way for others to get to know you. Select the expository form if you feel there is something you would like to explain about a topic of interest to you. Select the persuasive form if you believe one of your best skills is convincing others to agree with you about something.
