What’s the difference between poetry and prose? In your own words

poetry is structured and uses lots of similes and metaphors sometimes onomatopoeia.

prose is just a formal way of talking.

she is later raised by him and his wife, madame valmonde, who sees her as gift from god, as the couple cannot have their own children. later, desiree falls in love with a wealthy man, armand aubigny, and they get married.

two factors or characteristics of a chapter that might make it difficult to read would be words i don't understand, or if i don't fully understand what's going on in the chapter. strategies i can use to get through the difficult material would be a dictionary, and re-reading previous chapters to get a better grasp of what the author is trying to say.
