In this activity, you’ll write an introduction paragraph to a research paper based on the writing prompt for this lesson: Some types of modern technology have affected how people communicate with one another. Cell phones, the Internet, and email are some examples. Choose a type of technology that has changed how people communicate. Then research and write about the history of its invention, how it has developed over time, and how it is used today. Be sure to include evidence from at least two research sources in your paper.
