Barrett has been invited to attend an important baseball camp over the summer, but his mother, who works two jobs to support the family, tells him that they simply don't have the money to send him. Barrett is devastated, but he won't give up on his dream and decides to start mowing lawns to earn the money himself. He goes to the Mitchells' house first and knocks on the door.
