You have previously chosen a side to an issue, stated a claim, and you have written ideas about your claim in your Argument Organizer. Now you will use your ideas from the organizer (and tips from this lesson) to write the introduction to your argument. Write three or more complete sentences. Remember to include:
Overview: Volunteering can teach someone new skills and/or make friends. It's not bad to volunteer and many people may say it's fun although, there are some people who don't like volunteering and would disagree.
Explanation: Some people may think volunteering is just a waste of time or is boring. Others may not have time or money to volunteer.
Claim: Volunteering is a great way to meet new people or just help out by as on person.

Volunteering can be a great way to do thing and meet new people. But there is a con to everything, the con of volunteering may be not having time or not having the money. Thinking that volunteering is boring or a waste of time is an opinion not a fact, therefore it's not a con. But it's still note-worthy to many people. Some people may think of volunteering as an opportunity to get out of the house, help the community, or just for the fun. Volunteering has its pros and cons, but it has more pros than cons. Therefore, it should be necessary to graduate.

Also, stop deleting questions that people report because my sisters question got deleted and it was a real homework assignment. So now I am reposting it so she does not get killed my our mother.
