I chose Edgar Allen Poe's  (classic) "Annabel Lee"

Explanation: I chose this due to the emotions that were expressed. The emotions of love, and wanting to capture that love and keep it with you always, to have it ripped from your grasp along with the one you will only ever love. It's a tragedy, and how his love burned for her even in death. He always had her within his heart and never once questioned his love or loyalty. The feeling of despair and anguish truly captivates the reader. The love that was always connected even in Annabel's death truly inspired that of a true love and writer.
