The above lines have been spoken by Macbeth in Act 1 Scene 3 in his soliloquy. Macbeth acknowledges the prophecies made by the witches and analyses that the first prophecy became real. He becomes curious that whether the prophecies he had received are either good or bad. In order to make them happen in real, Macbeth had the only option to kill Dunken which terrifies him.
