Is this iambic pentameter?

she glances with longing at the bookshelf,
wondering what she should read about next.
pip pap pip pap go the kitten's small feet,
onto her lap jumps the tiny creature,
looks at her with eyes like bright emeralds,
and squirms happily in her loving arms.
the girl smiles slowly and begins to laugh,
and walks over to the millions of books.
she picks her favorite and read aloud,
about wizards, creatures, and a young boy.
the kitten purrs softly and drifts to sleep,
as the patter of rain begins to start.
