This is going to sound really weird, but i'm writing a horror short story for ela and a part of it has someone hitting another person over the head with a lamppost. so, is this good for that one part?
“i warned you. now you will have to burn in hell.” mother raised the hammer above her head again. as she did, i raised the lamppost as high as i could. before she could hurt the girls, i swung my arms with all my might. the light bulb in the lamppost broke over mother’s head and the end of the lamppost pushed shards of the glass into her scalp.
