The English Bill of Rights Made it so the rulers had to abide by the laws of the country. It guarteed the rights of the individuals that were ruled over.

The trail by jury is very similar to this, for it punishes people by how the law sees fit and gurtees that the individual standing for incrimination gets a rightful punishment.

For the other answers, cruel punishent is exactly the opposite. Its freely punishing people unjust to the law and follows no law or rights.

The right the bear arms might be though of as similar, but when yout hink about it, the right to bear arms isnt granting justnes, justice, freedom, or law. It is simply allowing the the possesion of person property.
