1. Adapt the speech to your specific audience by using the specific audience's information while preparing the speech.

2. Direct observation allows you to get to know the members of the audience personally by using your own senses such as hearing, sight and perhaps smell.

3. By using your hearing, sight, smell, and others, observation helps you directly know your audience.
