I i feel like I’m losing every memory of her- I made this poem for my dog brownie who died not to long ago :/ You were my shining light that I would hold when my heart was dark and no longer red

You made me feel loved, just by kissing me on the head

The impact you had in my life, will never be shared

Only with the great memories I hold so dearly

I’m scared of them slipping away, day by day I pray that they stay with me forever

I love you brownie, if only I could’ve told you that the day you left me

I’m hurt that you left me alone, without seeing you take your last breath

Who knows maybe I couldn’t have handled it, but the pain is to much to even abandon it

I cry at night, just for the fact that I could’ve woken up

I’m trying brownie, I really am

But how can I let you go, I don’t know how too

I’m not prepared too, I scare myself with how much emotions I hide

Remember that night, when I held you tight to me because I was scared you can leave any second

Ohh how I wish, I could do that one more time

But I shall see you again brownie, this will not be the last time

I love you baby, you were my dog who I truly loved and still love

I’m so glad your no longer in pain

PS: Tell chewie I said hi
