My reading and the video where basically the same. Obviously the text was better, because I found it hard to hear what was being said in the video, but other than that, the events unfolded in much the same way. Also, the words they speak are a lot more understandable, because they use a more modern version instead of the way Shakespeare originally wrote it.

My reading and watching experience of the balcony scene wasn't very different. I enjoyed the text version more than the video because I could imagine the scenario, the clothes the characters were wearing, and their background. However, my experience with the video was agreeable too. Because the actors simplified some original Shakespeare lines into modern language, I understood more of what was said and was able to get deeper into the plot. Not only that, but the actors also did a phenomenal job portraying the scene, strictly acting accordingly to how I imagined it.
