Hi! Fellow lesb!an here-- there are lots of ways to come out to your family and tell them that you're with another woman. I feel like there is one question to ask first, though:

Do you know if they're supportive or not?

If you know that your family is already supportive, then coming out should be no problem. I came out to my family over dinner by casually mentioning that "I'm dating [name of g!rlfriend]." Obviously, this may prompt a lot of questions, such as "why didn't you tell us earlier" or "what is she like", so be ready for that.

If they're not supportive, it becomes a lot more complicated. Many friends of mine with unsupportive families are simply waiting until they move out of their family's home so their family cannot act drastically. Others are planning on not telling them at all. A handful of my friends, however, came out to their families and were met with "alright, just don't rub it in our face" to more... h0m0ph0bic responses.
