What is the main conflict of the novel (Tears of a Tiger) and its resolution? A. The drinking and driving accident which killed Rob. The resolution is Andy had to go to court and was charged and sentence for DUI, B. J. changed his life around and is serving God, Tyrone with the help of Rhonda has been able to over come the blame and guilt he has felt.

B. The main conflict is Andy has not been able to deal with or over come the guilt and pain he feels for being responsible for Rob's death. There is no real resolution; by choosing to commit su. icide, Andy no longer feels the guilt and pain, but he has caused pain and guilt for others.

C. The main conflict is racism in the school which is exhibited by the teachers, counselors, and other students. The resolution is the administration required, those who exhibited such behavior, to go to multicultural sensitivity training, and if the behavior continued the staff was fired and the students were expelled.

D. The main conflict is dysfunctional relationships. For example: In Andy and Keisha's relationship, Andy relies on Keisha to help him resolve his depression and grief, and this is too much for her to handle. Another example is Gerald's family. Gerald and his sister live with his stepfather who is an abusive alcoholic and drug addict. Gerald doesn't know what a normal family life is like.​
