“Hope” is the thing with feathers —
That perches in the soul —
And sings the tune without the words —
And never stops — at all —
What do you notice about the structure?
Alternating lines are about the same length and all end with a dash.
Each line begins the same way and has the same number of words.
The lines don’t have an organized structure.
