How do challenges shape your personality? free points

It's a complex topic, but if you think hard about it, you can really come up with some stuff.

Who are you? What are you here for? What made you what you are?

Those are questions many of us ask, but never find the answer to, unfortunately.

"How do challenges shape your personality?" Personally, I'd not say they help you configure your personality in the long run, but they do give you experience, wisdom, and higher mental / physical / emotional strength / awareness.

Example; if I were lifting a 54 kg weight, which is about 119.05 lbs, I might struggle a bit. But, as I practice with that, sharpening my muscles to get into shape to finally have enough capacity to easily bench the weight, then that would be overcoming a challenge.

Another example; I, like a usual kid, was scared of the dark when I was really young, about 2-9 years old. But, as I grew, as I experienced the dark more, learnt more, felt it more, I finally realized; there's nothing bad about it, it's just eerie. That's called overcoming fear, which in this decipher, is a challenge that shapes your personality.  

Depending on the challenge, it could shape your senses, strengths, and awareness. All depending on the challenge.
