Order of Events Keisha woke up flying. Blurred lines of buildings passed by - grey concrete, dirty
brick. Cars, trucks, a whole herd moving traffic rumbled beneath her on their
morning commute. This was without a doubt the most impressive of her
emerging powers - if only she could control it. She whizzed underneath an
overpass so close she could feel it push her hair back. She was thrown around
like a pinball hitting invisible barriers: zooming close to the edges of buildings,
then Talling back to the street only to shoot up again just in time to avoid a
turning bus. She tossed like this, willing her flight to obey her thoughts, but it was
no use. Finally she landed - hard - on a hilly knoll in a park. She looked around,
but it was no use; she couldn't recognize her surroundings at all. How was she
supposed to make it home?
