Hi Mom and dad,

The reason we are here today is to talk about why I want a doll.

I know that I have a lot of toys already but this one is very special to me. It would change the way I look at toys.

(Mom: Why would we but you a new toy if you break most of the new ones we buy, within a week.)

I know I break a lot of my toys but this one is going to be different. It's going to stay clean and not one finger is going to get scratched. Her hair isn't gonna get cut. I will take good care of it.

(mom and dad look at each other.)

(dad: we are going to have to discuss this alone.)
