Not only does a person in power have the power to affect the lives of others, they can alter history with it. Yes, a person in power, such as Hitler, influenced so many lives, he created a Holocaust. This event occurred during the broader context of WWII; near the election between Hitler and Paul Von Hindenburg. Hitler was such a high-standard leader (never condoning his actions), he persuaded hundreds of people to vote for him after he lost. Even after not being in power (since he lost the election) he still convinced citizens to join his democracy; the Nazis. During this time, many people were unemployed and Hitler assured to the public, that Paul Von Hindenburg was to blame for this. When Hitler got another chance to run in an election, he won because of his united democracy and the citizens who converted from the Democratic and Communist party. From the beginning of his claims, he was in power since he lead hundreds of people. His growth in power allowed him to hide the hatred he had for Jews as they weren't citizens. He influenced so many lives (even Jews) to believe myths and to practice segregation towards Jews, which continued for years under HIS power.
