Maus was written by Art Spiegel man who was an American cartoonist and was shown on American television between the period of 1980 to 1991. It is a story around a Spiegelman who is interviewing his father and asking him about what all experiences he had as a Polish Jew and a survivor of the Holocaust. The Jewish characters In this story, they try to present themselves as ethnic poles and in order to prove that, they try to wear pig masks to their faces which had strings showing at the back. In order to make each character of his story ethnicity look-alike, Speigel man hoped that he will show the absurdity of dividing people and also stated that “These metaphors were meant to self destruct”.

In the story, Spiegelman showed his side of Jewishness when he had her tail out of disguise as well as the liberalization of the stereotypes which were genocidal and which led to drove the Nazis to their final solution.
