Please help If you’re not sure a word is spelled correctly and don’t have a dictionary, which strategy should you consider?

taking a break and looking at the suspect word later with fresh eyes
replacing the suspect word with a synonym that is easier to spell
checking whether the suspect word conveys your idea correctly
