Have u read the book "to kill a mockingbird"?

i am writing an argument essay. is this introduction good?

many characters in the novel to kill a mockingbird by harper lee have to overcome an abundance of obstacles to make a change to the way society thinks. society in this novel assumes that the black man atticus finch is defending is automatically guilty which we know is not the case. this entire novel shows that if you work hard and fight for what you believe in you can change the way people view things just like how atticus proved that his client didn't rape anyone.
