She is taking a person she does not even know very well by their word. This is where would say Lady come on have you ever seen a movie they always backstab. She is trusting a coward’s prince. If he is a prince why in the world would he take a criminal back to their ship when he can just tell you a lie and capture him and say that he is such a great hero. This pirate has been plundering the seas for years you really think that he is going to just let him go. In this instance, I would say come on buttercup use your brains. Not to mention she is breaking Westly’s heart. I mean come on don’t be slow!

Zachariah. He is the chef of the Seahawk, the surgeon, and the only black man on the ship. He is about 50 years old, is originally from Africa, can't read, and knows very little about Christianity.  He is also as it turns out the closest ally of Charlotte on the Seahawk. Zachariah gives a dirk to Charlotte for protection and sews a miniature set of sailor clothes for her.  It turns out that he's one of the nicest, if not the nicest, guys on the ships. His bond with the child passenger starts very soon. To all the other passengers, he is very much friendly. To any of the passengers, it might not look like all that, however, he tries.
