Find 3 literary devices, that are in this monologue, explain what they are, and which phrases are an example of a literary device. What is this that sits on my head,
Covering my eyes, in trickles of blood?
It grows heavier, teasing me,
Reminding me of those cruel things that I have done.
I will remove it.
Wow! What a lot of effort it takes
Why are you trying to tease me?
Are you trying to remind me of the past?
Go away! You horrid bully.
It is gone.
Please, let me rest, and finally clean the blood from my hand.
Yet it is still there,
Like ink that stains paper.
You have caused so much confusion,
That my beloved husband turns mad.
I must go to the feast.
I hope that Macbeth had sent the assassin,
To SLICE UP innocent Banquo,
And we won’t have to worry anymore.
