Guys I made a poem for english please tell me your opinion on it so far, I have not finished yet. I sit and ponder at the dark blue sky
How the stars twinkle in midnight
The moon sits up so high
Always shining so bright

A nice breeze shifts the air
There is a little chill here and there
But my eyes continue to stare
The stars seem to flare

The sky is covered with a nice glow
Some shoot to and fro
All the stars put on a show
Each one appears to grow

The moons light starts to fade
As a fog of clouds takes its place
The wind comes to its aid
The clouds leave without a trace

Only if I could be so near
There would be nothing for me to fear
Everything would be so clear
I might even start to tear

The water glistens under the moon
It sings its own little tune
The sounds are always very boon
I think it has its own rune

Even the stars gather around
But the moon seems to be the host
They all enjoy the beautiful sound
But never do they boast

Some of the stars start to fly
Leaving trails of light across the sky
I cannot help but start to cry
It is truly beauty to my eye

They are as bright as they can be
So much I can barely see
They all look so free
I cannot help but to show some glee

As I look out towards North
All my pain starts to ease
I watch the clouds come forth
The night sky is my peace

If only I was at the beach
Oh how much the stars would preach
It all seems out of reach
But nobody would be a creech

The feeling of sand under my feet
That would be such a treat
The ocean smells very sweet
And the stars look perfectly neat

I walk around and my footprints engraves
As my feet enters the oceans edge
The dark blue water always waves
And it tends to give the same pledge

The cool water overlaps
And fills the sands little gaps
Around my foot the water wraps
Mixed in with the shells scraps

Stone, two or three feet thick, the door of wood and iron, a foot thick, and the iron grating which strained the light, i could not being struck with the foolishness of that institution which treated me as if i were mere flesh and blood and bones, to be locked up. i wondered that it should have concluded at length that this was the best use it could put me to, and had never thought to avail itself of my services in some way. i saw that, if there was a wall of stone between me and my townsmen, there was a still more difficult one to climb or break through before they could get to be as free as i was. i did not for a moment feel confined, and the walls seemed a great waste of stone and mortar. i felt as if i alone of all my townsmen had paid my tax. — “civil disobedience,” henry david thoreau based on this passage, how did thoreau feel about his confinement?

Read this excerpt from leo tolstoy's the death of ivan ilyich her attitude towards him and his diseases is still the same just as the doctor had adopted a certain relation to his patient which he could not abandon, so had she formed one towards him—that he was not doing something he ought to do and was himself to blame, and that she reproached him lovingly for this--and she could not now change that attitude. "you see he doesn't listen to me and doesn't take his medicine at the proper time. and above all he lies in a position that is no doubt bad for him.- with his legs up" she described how he made gerasim hold his legs up the doctor smiled with a contemptuous affability that said"what's to be done? these sick people do have foolish fancles of that kind, but we must forgive them they all rose, said good-night and went away when they had gone it seemed to ivan ilyich that he felt better, the falsity had gone with them. but the pain remained--that same pain and that same fear that made everything monotonously alike, nothing harder and nothing easier. everything was worse again minute followed minute and hour followed hour everything remained the same and there was no cessation. and the inevitable end of it all became more and more terrible based on the excerpt, how is praskovya fedorovna a character foil to ivan ilyich? a. she is kind and takes care of ivan, which is why he feels guilty about how he treated her for most of their married life • b. she is vindictive toward ivan while pretending to be worried about him, thus reminding him of how his family has never forgiven him she plays the part of the worried wife without any real feeling, symbolizing the false propriety ivan upheld but now hates c. d. she is young, healthy, and beautiful-everything ivan can never be again and wishes he could return to
