- Conculsion (3-5 sentences)

For this assignment, I am focusing on three specific things when it comes to grading.

Disclaimer

This is a timed writing essay so you will have from the beginning of class to the end of class, when the bell rings, to complete your work. You must submit before the beginning of the next class bell. In other words: If I have you from 10:31 am to 11:24 am then the latest you can submit is five minutes after the bell has rung, meaning 11:29 am, when the bell rings for the start of the next class period. That gives you 55 minutes total to work. If there are issues with technology or the internet I will deal with them as they arise. Otherwise, if your essay is not turned in on time I will take points off accordingly.

Remember! If you worked on your packet like you were supposed to then you should already have every piece you need to write your essay. If you didn't work on your packet then let me remind you that this is a summative test grade.

Good luck and God speed.

Read this excerpt from i never had it made. "it's all that ought to count," he replied. "but it isn't. maybe one of these days it will be all that counts. that is one of the reasons i've got you here, robinson. if you're a good enough man, we can make this a start in the right direction. but let me tell you, it's going to take an awful lot of courage." he was back to the crossroads question that made me start to get angry minutes earlier. he asked it slowly and with great care. "have you got the guts to play the game no matter what happens? " "i think i can play the game, mr. rickey," i said. the next few minutes were tough. branch rickey had to make absolutely sure that i knew what i would face. beanballs would be thrown at me. i would be called the kind of names which would hurt and infuriate any man. i would be physically attacked. could i take all of this and control my temper, remain steadfastly loyal to our ultimate aim? which is the central idea of this excerpt?
