It is good to have high emotional well-being, but it is also good to think your life is going well

Well-being is the experience of health, happiness, and prosperity. It includes having good mental health, high life satisfaction, a sense of meaning or purpose, and ability to manage stress. More generally, well-being is just feeling well. Emotional Well Being = the quality of a person's everyday experience such as joy, fascination, anxiety, sadness, anger, and affection. Life Evaluation = a person's thoughts about his or her life (on a longer time scale). These measure different things; they are not just measures of the same thing. Feelings of wellbeing are fundamental to the overall health of an individual, enabling them to successfully overcome difficulties and achieve what they want out of life. Past experiences, attitudes and outlook can all impact wellbeing as can physical or emotional trauma following specific incidents.
