          When you are a new parent, childhood vaccines or immunizations may seem daunting. In addition to shielding your child from lethal illnesses such as measles, tetanus, and diphtheria, vaccines often keep other children healthy by eliminating or substantially reducing harmful illnesses that have spread from child to child.
