What does henry david thoreau believe a person's obligation is to unjust laws and the "evils" of the world?

Henry david thoreau believe that american social institutions and policies, most prominently slavery and the mexican american war. within him believe that people first obligation is to do what they believing and not to follow the law dictated by the majority. if the goverment is running unjust, people should refuse to follow the law and make a distance from the goverment in general.
