Which claim from the passage is an opinion? It's a bad idea for students to choose which elective classes they want
to take in middle school. While some students believe they already
know that, for example, they are interested in art rather than music,
most are just beginning to explore their true talents. My own father,
who is now a painter, did not know he liked art until he took a required
art class in sixth grade. Additionally, art and music classes have been
proven to improve brain health even in people who are not particularly
interested in those subjects.
