In chapter 2 ‘Of mice and men’. It says
“the old swamped looked quickly at him, and then shuffled to the door ridding his whiskers with his knuckles as he went. ‘Then guys just come,’ he said, and shuffled past the boss and out the door”
The question given by my teacher is “what do we learn about Candy from this?”
I don’t know the answer, can someone please help. What did we learn about Candy from that sentence?
