When Emily Dickinson’s poetry was discovered, editors changed her punctuation and removed capital letters for words that were not proper nouns. Later, editors realized that she used these elements purposely. In this discussion, you will compare and contrast “Introduction to Found Poetry” and “The Morns Are Meeker Than They Were.” Review part of Khianna's response: I think they are innovators. A lot of poetry has a specific form. Emily Dickinson and found poets have forms that they create themselves. They are totally new. Found poetry is very different. It is like mashing different pieces someone else wrote together to make something original.
