Sir Walter Raleigh's poem was a direct response to Christopher Marlowe's poem in which the speaker is the young woman to whom Marlowe's shepherd offers his proposal. In an original pastoral poem (life in the country) consisting of 24 lines in 6 stanzas and written in couplets (pairs of rhyming lines), write a response to Raleigh's poem in which the young shepherd responds to the young woman's rejection and her reasoning.
