An argumentative essay is different from an informational essay because is has an extra paragraph before the conclusion. What is this paragraph called and what does
it do?
introduction. It has a hook, thesis, and set-up sentence with your three reasons.
conclusion- It restates your claim and wraps up the paper by making a
suggestion or giving a call to action.
counterclaim-It argues the other side's position and uses one of your two
sentences from your prompt analysis as the counterclaim.
